Lake Bridge Behavioral Hospital, one of the top mental health facilities in Georgia, offers a free behavioral assessment for any child or teenager, regardless of insurance coverage.
We also want to share local classes and events that promote positive mental health for local children and adolescents.
Bibb LIPT
Every month, the Bibb Local Interagency Planning Team meets to support local families of children with a mental health diagnosis needing extra care and services to reach their full potential. Staff from the Bibb Board of Education, Department of Juvenile Justice, Mental Health Professionals, Department of Family & Children Services, Vocational Rehabilitation and other social service agencies and mental health facilities in Georgia come together to brainstorm a comprehensive community care plan to address needs of the youth and family. The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities oversees Local Interagency Planning Teams in each county in Georgia. To learn more about the Bibb LIPT, please email Bibb LIPT Interim Chair,
Will Butler.
